The old bus parking bays used during the 1960's and 1970's

The old bus bays (see map)

The bus bay area (outlined in red) was just
an unsurfaced play area during my time at
the school (1957/60) and had not yet been
tarmaced at the time of the 1963 aerial
photo. Please drop me an email if you
know when the tarmac was laid down and
the area first started to be used as a
parking area for the school buses.

Note: These bays fell within the area
designated for the new school building and
disappeared with the lifting of tarmac
during the early stages of the building work.
